CAITLIN SANFORD

 

CAITLIN FIRST TRAVELED TO KENYA IN 2006…

as a volunteer promoting experimental science education in Kenyan schools. She moved back to live in from Nairobi 2007-2009, working for the United Nations Environmental Program. Caitlin had the opportunity to visit Turakana and Samburu regions. One of her favorite memories from living in Kenya is running the Lewa half marathon inthis beautiful, harsh landscape. Experienced in implementing and evaluating international development programs, Caitlin has worked for the World Bank and Facebook’s internet.org. After a stint serving the California State Government, she now focuses on access to quality financial services in emerging markets. Caitlin holds a Bachelor’s from Stanford University and a Master’s in Development Economics and Public Policy from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
