MEET OUR NEW FELLOW!
As a freshman at Union College (NY), Matt began taking courses in geology and environmental science which fostered a passion for environmental conservation and fighting climate change. Through his studies he became aware of the current and impending water crisis that many communities throughout the world are struggling with. After graduating with a B.S. in Geology in June 2019 he was awarded the Minerva Fellowship from Union College to partner with an organization working in the developing world. This lead him to The Samburu Project which attracted him due to their fight against the water crisis and their passion for women’s empowerment. He will be living in Wamba, Kenya with the TSP Kenya team assisting them in a variety of roles from July 2019-April 2020. Click Samburu Stories read his blog and follow along on his journey.
