Special Events Intern

As a Special Events Intern you will help in the planning and implementation of special events and fundraisers. You will learn how to plan an event from the beginning to the end!


  • Walk through the creative process of putting together the collateral (printed and digital) material

  • Solicit companies and restaurants for in-kind donations

  • Manage event details and logistics

  • Assist on the day of the event


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

  • Excellent written, verbal, and email communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills and comfortable communicating on the phone and in person

  • Reliable and self-motivated, highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented

  • Flexible in stressful situations

  • Strong self-initiative and willingness to learn and take on a wide range of responsibilities

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
