SPLASH BASH 2025
Friday, October 24, 2025
SmogShoppe, Culver City
On Friday, October 24th, join us at SmogShoppe in Los Angeles for our 2025 Splash Bash Gala - a reunion of our global community in support of lasting change in Samburu. The evening begins with a garden-lit happy hour, Kenyan marketplace shopping, passed hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and a silent auction, followed by dinner with inspiring speakers, powerful videos, and an incredible live auction. More than a celebration, this is a night of connection - a chance for donors, advocates, and changemakers from around the world to directly support life-changing work in Samburu.

SOUTH BAY WALK FOR WATER
SUNDAY, AUGUST 24, 2025
Panelas HB
20 Pier Ave, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254
After six years we are thrilled to bring the Walk for Water back to the South Bay! Our 4-mile pier-to-pier walk invites kids and adults of all ages to take steps to fight the World Water Crisis. As walkers travel along the California coast, from Hermosa Beach Pier to Manhattan Beach Pier, they walk in solidarity with the women of Samburu, Kenya and raise awareness for water conservation on a global level.
Thank you to our sponsors: Mira Costa High School TRIBE Club, Panelas HB, & Mike Rossi at Strand Hill.
MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY
JUNE 14th, 2025
ARCHERS POST
On June 14th, we’re hosted our Menstrual Hygiene Event in Samburu to celebrate what’s possible when girls are equipped, educated, and empowered. Throughout the year, we are reaching students across Samburu - both girls and boys - with reusable PadMad kits, health education, and the launch of student-led menstrual clubs. Because when everyone is part of the conversation, stigma doesn’t stand a chance.

RUNNYMEDE HIKE FOR WATER 2025
For the fifth year in a row, the Woodside community came together to hike the scenic trails of this historic property - raising $15,000 to bring clean water to Samburu, Kenya. This year’s event was especially moving thanks to our friends Winfred Mulwa and Faith Ndanu, who shared their powerful stories of growing up in Kenya, walking miles each day to fetch water. Today, they’ve graduated from top U.S. universities and are determined to return home and lead change for future generations.
Endless gratitude to the Rosekrans family for hosting us, Daniel’s Kitchen for the delicious tacos, Whiskey & Water for the live music, Michael Molcsan for capturing the day, and our incredible volunteers who make it all happen.
