JOANNE KORANDU
JOANNE’s previous work in samuru county…
led her to The Samburu Project. She previously led child protection work in Kenya through World Vision USA and held a similar role in Cameroon, through a Food for Education program. Joanne’s experience in the nonprofit sector has centered on improving the lives of vulnerable and marginalized populations.
Joanne is a product of the University of Maryland system and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, and a Master of Science degree in Emergency Health Services. She is an avid hiker and counts Mt Oku in Cameroon and Mt. Kenya, among her hiking achievements.
