[WALK] FOR WATER

In 2009, a group of donors in Southern California decided to join forces to raise money for clean water. In solidarity with the women of Samburu, they walked 4 miles along the Pacific coast, raising more than $5,000 to support The Samburu Project. Over the next 10 years, this small beach walk grew into a national event. From Los Angeles to San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, and New York, hundreds of families, friends, and students walked together to raise awareness of the world water crisis. In 2020, our Walk for Water events transitioned the the virtual space where they live today! Each year, donors across the country continue to mobilize their friends and families to plan small scale walks. Use the link below and sign up to start a walk in your hometown today!
